Dum Ki Chai:

Ingredients:

Method:

1. In a pan, boil water and then add crushed cardamom and chopped ginger. oil till the water is reduced to half.
2. Now add tea and sugar in it Cover up with a lid and simmer the flame.
3. Now leave it for 8 to 10 minutes.
4. Take another pan and boil milk. when milk starts boil simmer the flame and leave it for few minutes.
5. Now add khoya in it and keep stirring until it mixes well in milk. Simmer until you will get a creamy mixture.
6. Now pour in the teapot and serve hot.

Doodh Patti Chai:

Doodh Patti chai is a kind of tea which is most likely to drink in Pakistan. It is different from all the variety of tea because the milk is used to prepare it instead of water.

Ingredients:

⦁ Milk: 2 Cups
⦁ Green Cardamom: 2 to 3
⦁ Water: 1/2 Cup
⦁ Tea: 2 tsp
⦁ Sugar: 2 tbsp

Method:

1. Take a pan and add milk and water to boil.
2. Now add sugar, tea, and cardamom in it.
3. Simmer it for 2 to 3 minutes and then beat it well
4. Serve hot.

Masala Chai:

Masala Chai is one of the most popular tea in Pakistan. It makes people feel relax during the days of winter. It is also liked y people during the summer season. It is a mixture of few spices.

Ingredients:

⦁ Whole Cloves: 4
⦁ Cardamom Pods: 2
⦁ Cinnamon Sticks: 1
⦁ Water: 3 Cups
⦁ Ground Ginger: 1/4 tsp
⦁ Fresh Ground lack Pepper: 1/8 tsp
⦁ Milk: 1/2 Cup
⦁ Granulated Sugar: 2 tsp
⦁ Black Tea: 2 tbsp

Method:

1. In a grinder, crush the cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
2. Now transfer the all crushed spices to the small pan and then add water in it.
3. Add ginger and pepper and then bring it to boil.
4. Now remove the pan from flame and cover it for 5 minutes.
5. Then, add milk and sugar to it and again oil the mixture.
6. Now remove from flame and then cover it for 3 minutes.
7. Stir it and serve hot.

Kashmiri Chai:

Kashmiri Chai is a traditional beverage of Kashmir. It is also called pink tea because of its color. This tea is mostly a part of celebrations like wedding and functions in Pakistan. It is a different style of tea but its taste is super cool.

Ingredients:

⦁ Almond: As per required
⦁ Pistachio: As per required
⦁ Water: 1 Cup
⦁ Milk: 1/2 kg
⦁ Sugar: To Taste
⦁ aking Soda: 1 pinch
⦁ Green Cardamom: 2 to 3
⦁ Cold Water: 1 Cup
⦁ Green Tea: 1 tsp

Method:

1. Take a pan and add a cup of water and heat on a flame. When it simmers, add some green cardamom and tea powder.
2. Now cook for 10 to 12 minutes at low flame until water reduced to half.
3. Now add a pinch of baking soda in it and cook for 3 to 4 minutes at low flame.
4. When it looks brownish turn off the stove and add a cup of cold water.
5. Add cold water slowly and keep beating.
6. Now add milk and mix when kahwa becomes pinkish.
7. Place on stove at low flame to give it dum.
8. Garnish it with almonds and pistachio and serve hot.

Kahwa:

KAhwa is a traditional style of tea which is most likely used to drink in villages. It is the type of tea which is easy to make and refreshes your mind in a minute.

Ingredients:

⦁ Tea Powder: 4 tsp
⦁ Saffron: 4 pinch
⦁ Slightly Crushed Cardamoms: 2
⦁ Chopped Almonds: 8
⦁ Cinnamon Stick: 1
⦁ Cloves: 2
⦁ Sugar: 2 tbsp
⦁ Honey: 2 tbsp
⦁ Water: 3 Cups

Method:

  1. Take a pan and boil water with cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom.
  2. Now add tea powder and leave it for 10 minutes on a very low flame.
  3. Now dissolve saffron in little bit water by stirring gently.
  4. Now strain the tea into a cup and add saffron liquid to it.
  5. Now add almonds, sugar, and honey and serve hot.

Butter Tea:

Butter Tea is one of the classic variety of tea. It is also known as Gur ki Chai. This kind of tea is famous for its unique taste. It is mostly liked by the people of Northern areas in Pakistan.

Ingredients:

⦁ Water: 4 Cups
⦁ Organic Black Tea: 2 tbsp
⦁ Salt: 1/4 tsp
⦁ Butter: 2 tbsp
⦁ Milk: 1/2 Cup

Method:

1. Take a pan and boil cps of water and then turn off the flame.
2. Now put 2 tsp of tea in water and then boil continuously for a couple of minutes.
3. Now strain and then combine the tea with salt and milk and butter.
4. Now blend them nicely in a blender.
