PSL – KK v QG: Gladiators Won by 67 Runs Against Kings

In the 19th match of Pakistan Super League, thanks to the excellent batting of Kevin Pietersen and Shane Watson, Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings with 67-heavy heavy margins. In the match played in Dubai, Gladiator Openers Shane Watson and Asad Shafiq gave his team a good start of 60 runs, especially Watson’s style was aggressive, which made three sixes in Imad Waseem’s over.

Shahid Afridi dismissed Asad Shafiq out of the partnership that made 16 runs. After this, Peterson came along with Watson and both of them made 86 runs for their experience. Peterson scored 52 runs with 1 six and 7 fours on 34 balls and became Usman Shinwari’s wicket.

However, Shane Watson continued to bat on 58 balls with 7 sixes and 5 fours, completed unbeaten 90 runs inning, and reached Quetta Gladiators to the largest combination of PSL this year. Gladiators made 180 runs at the loss of four wickets in the fixed overs.

In the pursuit of the target, Karachi Kings’ both the openers Joe Denly and Shahid Afridi returned to Pavilion by making two runs, while the problems of the team were doubled when Colin Ingram also made five runs only to leave Pavilion. The team’s expectations on the occasion were Ravi Bopara, but Ben Laughlin scored fourth loss to Karachi Kings by eliminating his innings.
