PSL 3: Multan Sultans Set 153 Runs Target For Quetta Gladiators

Due to the aggressive batting of Shoaib Malik, Multan Sultans has targeted 153 runs for Quetta’s Gladiators in the 17th match of Pakistan Super League. Multan Sultans’ innings has not a good start and Kumar Sangakkara returned to the innings in the first inning, while Ahmed Shehzad also out by Anwar Ali after making only one run.

After scoring two wickets on three runs, Sohail Tanvir came with Sohaib Maqsood and two players scored 38 runs in the better position, Sohail Tanvir scored 19 runs. Sohaib Maqsood took the match with captain Shoaib Malik to 81, but he was dismissed as an outfit for Ben Laughlin, while Ross Whiteley made 16 runs.

However, Shoaib Malik appeared in aggressive mode and made 43 runs in 43 balls with three sixes and four fours to reach his team. Multan Sultans made 152 runs for the loss of five wickets in the overs.

Earlier, in the match played in Dubai, Sarfraz Ahmed, captain of Quetta Gladiators, won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat first. Three changes have been made in the team of Quetta Guladi editors and Mahmoodullah, John Hastings and Umar Amin were not included in the team for the match against Multan Sultans.

On the other side, Multan Sultans’ team has also made two changes, which include Ross Whiteley and Omar Gul in the place of Darren Bravo and Junaid Khan.

It is believed that Multan Sultans is the PSL’s top team and honors to score a big score in the tournament. Multan Sultans defeated Peshawar Zalmi for 19 runs in the last match played by Sohaib Maqsood.
