Playoff: KK v IU – Islamabad United Qualified For PSL 3 Final

In the first innings of the Pakistan Super League, thanks to Luke Ronchi’s stunning batting, Islamabad United qualified for the event’s final by defeating Karachi Kings with 8 wickets.

In the match played in Dubai, Karachi Kings won the toss and decided to bat first, and on 17 runs, Muhammad Sami took the wickets of Khurram Manzoor and Babar Azam in the same over.

Eoin Morgan and Denly scored 46 for the time but Morgan returned to the pavilion after 21 runs and Karachi Kings team started looking in a hard time.

On the occasion, Colin Ingram came with Denly and both of the players made an 82-run partnership and ensure access to a reasonable score of the team.

After the innings of 51 runs with the help of one six and four fours on 46 balls, Denly returned to the pavilion but Ingram continued to bat well and played 65 runs inning and reached his team to a good combination.

Karachi Kings set 154 runs on the scoreboard for the loss of four wickets in the given overs, Ingram scored 68 runs in 39 balls with six sixes and one four.

In pursuit of the target, Luke Ronchi performed an aggressive batting and started taking all the bowlers of Karachi Kings in their hands and made the record of PSL’s fastest half-century by making 50 for just 19 balls.

He scored 91 runs for the first wicket with Sahibzada Farhan, and made Karachi Kings out of the match, Sahibzada got out after making 28 runs with three fours.

But Ronchi continued a good batting and Alex Hales came to join Ronchi and made a score of 124 runs in 10 overs, Hales went out after making 14 runs.

A new batsman Patel and Ronchi continued their batting, while their team wrapped victory before 45 balls. Ronchi scored 94 runs with only five sixes and 12 fours.

Luke Ronchi was declared the best player of the match.
